Ristorante la tettoia 'NUOVA GESTIONE'

Yesterday I found myself in San Fele for work and around 1pm I finished work and I was hungry... I discovered this really special little restaurant... the boy who welcomed me was incredibly polite, always smiling and very very helpful. he recommended me and did a spectacular job because I ate really well and everything was absolutely very very well done.. I then met his father the chef and I complimented him because I have been in Basilicata for 1 month but I had never eaten so good .. absolutely worth trying for the quality of the food and the courtesy of the staff.. I will absolutely go back as soon as I return to San Fele.. this dish that I attach is amazing..

Located in the mountains, surrounded by greenery, stands this TRATTORIA, yes, finally a real trattoria, with typical local products, fresh and decidedly good! Leisure trip with family and friends in tow, we had 8 appetizers (single dish with raw meat, spicy salami, dessert, capocollo, 2 types of cheese, spreadable cream and bruschetta) abundant, 1 first course chosen from 3 first courses (fresh pasta with black boar ragù, one with bacon and crusco pepper and ravioli with ricotta and pistachio), a second course chosen between sausage, roast suckling pig, side dish of potatoes or salad, dessert and coffee for 25, don't be surprised by the dishes, they are super abundant, it's their standard, (I wasn't able to eat the whole second course) it was good but I got full! Ample parking and easy to get to. A positive note also goes to the guys in the room, not the usual improvised waiters, but true professionals, ready to satisfy all needs, polite and smiling, which is no small thing, fast and impeccable service, women were served first, that's not to be taken for granted! I was at the canopy for a dinner with friends, very friendly and helpful staff. Good assortment of local products. Excellent value for money.
